If you have a disability and are looking for affordable housing, the Housing Connector program can help!
The Housing Connector program assists people with varying disabilities to connect to independent housing options of their choice in the community of their choice.
The Housing Connector serves as a resource of information and assistance in navigating the housing system, which enables families with disabilities to make better connections to independent housing choices.
We work closely with property owners, the Housing Authorities, and community resources so that we can serve as an effective liaison between people looking for housing and available accessible units.
To qualify for this service, individuals must be an adult over the age of 18 and have a disability as defined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) definition of disability (link to https://www.hud.gov/program_offices/fair_housing_equal_opp/disability_overview).
