Mackey Lofts
Back to Our Projects

Located in a former biscuit factory, the Mackey building had fallen into disrepair until ACTION-Housing sought to rehabilitate the factory into 43 units of affordable housing. The Lofts are comprised of 35 one-bedroom units, and 8 two-bedroom units. 18 of the units have special accessibility features, including eight specifically designed for residents with sight and hearing impairments. The building is on the busy Forbes-Fifth transit corridor, providing easy access to multiple modes of transportation.
