ACTION-Housing is acting as a Development Consultant for the renovation of Bethlehem Haven’s building at 1410 Fifth Avenue in Uptown. This location serves as a long-term residential supportive housing for women who may not be capable of living independently or had been experiencing long term housing instability.  Bethlehem Haven provides daily support and assistance for residents including 24/7 on site staffing, meal programs and extensive supportive services.

One of the key components of the renovation plan is to reconfigure the living spaces so that each of the 26 women can have their own independent living space in an SRO (single room occupancy unit). The renovation scope also includes replacing the mechanical, plumbing and electric systems, accessibility improvements and updates to finishes to make 1410 Fifth Avenue a place that residents and staff feel comfortable and safe in and that is respectful to the women that Bethlehem Haven is privileged to serve.
