Why Apply?

Energy retrofits are complicated.  Most professionals working in affordable multifamily housing simply do not have the time or know-how to manage the entire process.  Our expert staff will take the confusion out of this process and assist you every step of the way.  Almost every building benefits from an energy retrofit.  Applicants apply for a variety of reasons—here are a few:

  • 70% of affordable multifamily housing in Western PA is over 30 years old and not constructed to the same energy efficiency standards we have today.
  • Fluctuating energy costs can lead to higher rents than the property can support.
  • Leaky and under-insulated buildings lead to tenant complaints.

Benefits of the One Stop Program:

  • 20-30% reduction in utility bills[1]
  • Improved tenant comfort and safety
  • Improved property cash flow
